Thank You To All Who Donated!
I’m happy to share that we successfully delivered all the generous donations on Saturday, 10/12/2024 around 11:00 am. When we arrived at BeLoved Asheville, we were met with an incredible scene—lines of vehicles, volunteers everywhere, and a real sense of community effort. Due to the size of our truck and the volume of supplies, we were sent to their satellite location down the road, where everything was sorted. From there, volunteers would load up the requested donations from local communities and deliver to those in need.
The lady running the operation at BeLoved Asheville shared just how much they’ve received and how much they’ve already gone through—it was a staggering amount. The need is massive, but thanks to your generosity, we were able to contribute significantly to their efforts.
As we made our way through the region, we encountered some treacherous detours—half-washed-out roads, steep inclines, and areas barely passable due to flood/water damage. Construction workers were making repairs, tree trimmers were cleaning up, and linemen were clearing and repairing power lines. We saw numerous signs in front yards thanking everyone for supplies, and the devastation we passed was heartbreaking. But thanks to your generosity, we brought help to those who need it most.
