Always On the Move: A Weekend in the Life of TimeSavers' Owner

Hello, TimeSavers friends and family!

You know, at TimeSavers, we believe in keeping things running smoothly, whether it's your business or your weekend plans. But when I'm off the clock, I like to keep things moving in a different way—on two wheels!

Two weekends ago, I had the pleasure of volunteering at the Bike Buckeye Lake event, a fantastic initiative close to my heart. Bike Buckeye Lake is all about promoting biking in the Buckeye Lake, OH area and working towards creating a bike path that wraps all the way around the lake. It’s a great cause, and while I didn’t hop on the bike myself, I was right there in the thick of things, helping to administer the race and cheer on the riders.

Last weekend, I traded my volunteer hat for a bike helmet and took part in the Tour de Donut in Troy, OH. Now, this isn’t your average race—oh no! It’s a race with a sweet twist. At various rest stops, they serve up donuts, and for every donut you eat, they take 5 minutes off your time. Talk about a sugar rush! My wife and I teamed up on a tandem bike, and we managed to tackle the 35-mile course in 2 hours and 45 minutes. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself!

But I wasn’t the only one representing TimeSavers out there. My son and two of our fantastic employees joined in on the fun, making up the official TimeSavers team. We sported matching bike clothes with the TimeSavers logo—because if you’re going to ride, you might as well ride in style, right?
